Bucheon Botanical Garden houses many rare plants, spread across two above-ground floors and two underground floors in a 27,124 ㎡ building. The building was designed in the shape of a peach flower, the symbol of Bucheon, and has one central garden and five themed gardens: general plant garden, aquatic plant garden, tropical plant garden, succulent plant garden, and indigenous plant garden.

In the central garden, 9,975 trees representing some 310 species are planted. With a forest nearby, the botanical garden offers a great nature learning experience for visitors. The first naengmyeon restaurant to open in Hwapyeong-dong did so in the early to mid-70s. It wasn't until the early 2000's that the area saw an influx of over 20 naengmyeon restaurants. These days, visitors can choose from 13 restaurants. In the beginning, the servings here were all the standard found anywhere else in Korea. However, many of the factory workers in the area would come here, and ask for additional servings during their lunch break. Eventually, the restaurants began to serve larger sizes, naturally leading to the use of a large bowl to one similar to what people would use when washing their faces. Another specialty of the naengmyeon here is the addition of yeolmu kimchi (young summer radish kimchi). Many restaurants also offer free, unlimited refills on noodles.

Munhak Rose Park is situated at the base of Munhaksan Mountain. The park features a central rose garden boasting over 40 varieties of roses, alongside a pond, a lawn area, and multi-purpose sports facilities. It includes several photo zones, such as a rose-adorned staircase with trick art, a porch evoking a European garden, and an arched bench embellished with roses. The roses are in full bloom during May and June.
