(Korea Quality Premier Class) WITH U is both a guesthouse and a mini-hotel located in front of the Sokcho Express Bus Terminal in Sokcho, Gangwon-do. It’s also very close to Sokcho Beach, so guests can enjoy a superb view of the beach from the fourth floor. Playa Sokcho (속초해수욕장)

La playa Sokcho (450 m de longitud, 45-80 m de ancho, profundidad media de 1 m) se ubica apenas a 500 m de la Terminal de Autobuses Expresos de Sokcho. Su paisaje compuesto por sus claras aguas, blanca arena y bosques de pino tiene una singular belleza y por situarse a pocos pasos de la terminal de autobuses hace que sea muy fácil llegar a ella. Se encuentra, además, cerca del monte Seoraksan, y muchos aficionados al montañismo pasan por aquí cuando ascienden al pico Daecheongbong y descienden por Seorak-dong del área interna de Seorak.

Sus blancas arenas se extienden por una playa de 2 km de longitud, abarcando Cheongho-dong, Joyang-dong, y Daepo-dong. El sector del balneario abierto al público comprende una extensión de 0,45 km de largo por 75 m de ancho, y gracias a la excelente calidad de sus arenas, cada año se incrementa la cantidad de sus visitantes.

La playa Sokcho, junto al monte Seoraksan, las Aguas Termales de Cheoksan, los Lagos Cheongchoho y Yeongnangho, entre otras atracciones turísticas, desempeña un papel fundamental en colocar a la ciudad Sokcho entre las áreas turísticas más importantes de Corea. Sobre los rompeolas levantados hacia el lado izquierdo de la playa hay numerosos lugares donde podrá disfrutar de hwaleo hoe (pescado crudo). Y también podrá disfrutar de la pesca marina, simplemente, abordando un bote hacia la isla Jo situada en mar abierto frente a la costa.

Hansongjeong Garden is owned by a first-rate chef who only uses carefully selected ingredients. The owner-chef won the Grand Prize in the SIFE Seoul International Culinary Competition 2007 and received a bronze medal for his work at the Gangwon Tour Service Competition. He also has a patent on Eolgari Nangmyeon (Cold Buckwheat Noodles with Eolgari Kimchi).

Lago Cheongcho (청초호)

El lago Cheongcho, en Sokcho, está conectado con el Mar del Este y tiene una superficie de 1,3 km² y una circunferencia de aproximadamente 5 km.
