Templo Gangcheonsa (강천사)

Situado a aproximadamente 1,8 kilómetros de la entrada al Parque Nacional del Monte Gancheonsan, el tempo Gangcheonsa fue construido por el monje Doseon en el primer año de reinado de la reina Jiseong de Silla (887 d.C). En el tercer año del rey Chungsuk de la era Goryeo (1316 d.C.), se añadió al templo una pagoda de 5 plantas de piedra, construida por el monje Deokhyeon. Durante su mejor momento, se dice que el templo tenía 12 ermitas y albergaba a 1.000 monjes. Sufrió un incendio durante la Guerra de Imjin, quedando solo la pagoda en pie. Años después fue reconstruido por el monje Soyo. Desgraciadamente, otra vez un incendio acabó con él durante la guerra de Corea. De nuevo fue reconstruido en 1959.

Algunos de los bienes culturales del lugar son Chungsinri y Namgyeri Seokjangseung (tótem de piedra), el edificio Sunchanggaesa, y la pagoda Sunhwari. Algunos puntos turísticos cercanos son la fortaleza Geumseongsanseong, las cascadas Yongso, los lagos Gancheonho y Damyangho, los montes Chuwolsan y Huimunsan y el Parque Nacional del Monte Naejangsan.

Parque Distrital del Monte Gangcheonsan (강천산군립공원)

El 7 de enero de 1981, el monte Gangcheonsan fue declarado Parque Distrital. Con 583 metros de altura, el monte guarda paisajes excepcionales creados por incontables rocas, árboles y plantas silvestres. Tras pasar por el templo Gangcheonsa, que se ubica dentro de la montaña, aparece una placa de informe que indica el viaducto (0,5 km), observatorio (1,5 km) y el dique Gangcheon (1,3 km). Desde el observatorio se puede apreciar la hermosa vista que ofrece la montaña y a la derecha hay un estanque gigante que, con la vegetación de sus alrededores, parece un verdadero paraíso. Los arces de la montaña son autóctonos de Corea, por lo que presentan hojas pequeñas, pero mantienen por mucho tiempo el color del otoño.
