El Museo Folclórico de Jeju es un museo público que administra numerosos tesoros folclóricos de los habitantes de la isla de Jeju. Todos los artículos exhibidos fueron realmente usados por la gente en el pasado. En la primera planta hay una sala de exhibición de objetos especiales, y en la segunda y tercera planta hay exhibiciones permanentes. Los objetos que llaman especialmente la atención son los garot, que son los trajes tradicionales de la isla de Jeju; el aegigudeok (cuna de bebé) y el ulsoe, un instrumento musical de los chamanes, hecho de cinco clases de espejos; y el dorongi, un piloto de paja. Sin embargo, el objeto que más llama la atención es el reloj de sol que era portátil: se trata de un artículo verdaderamente raro.

Saliendo al área abierta de exhibiciones, podrá ver numerosas caras talladas en piedra alineadas una al lado de la otra. Este lugar es precisamente, el sitio de las estatuas llamado Musingung. En este lugar, podrá encontrar 143 estatuas antiguas de las deidades musin. Los musin eran dioses de los chamanes en los que la gente de Jeju creía y pensaba que les traían felicidad si los adoraban. Estos musin han sido reconocidos internacionalmente como un tesoro artístico de algo valor, y en algunas ocasiones los habitantes locales realizan el gut (especie de rito sacrificial) aquí mismo. Si tiene suerte, podría llegar a ser testigo de un verdadero gut dirigido por un chamán.
