Nam June Paik Art Center (백남준아트센터)

Explanation

Nam June Paik Art Center opened in October 2008 after the proposal of building an art center began in 2001. The art center, known as the “House where Nam June Paik lives on,” was designed with the artist's works and research in mind. With exhibitions, education, and research, the center aims to continue researching the works of Nam Jun Paik as well as discuss art issues to add to future exhibitions. Various events, exhibitions and educational programs are hosted throughout the year.

Parking Fees : * When visiting 1 museum
- Car: 1,000 won for the first hour / 200 won for each additional 10 minutes
- Van: 2,000 won for the first hour / 400 won for each additional 10 minutes

* When visiting 2 museums
- Car: 1,000 won for the first two hours / 200 won for each additional 10 minutes
- Van: 2,000 won for the first two hours / 400 won for each additional 10 minutes

* When visiting 3 museums
- Car: 1,000 won for the first three hours / 200 won for each additional 10 minutes
- Van: 2,000 won for the first three hours / 400 won for each additional 10 minutes

* No parking fee is required for small-sized cars that exit within 10 minutes, and for middle and large-sized cars that exit within 30 minutes.

Day off : Mondays, New Year's Day, the day of Seollal (Lunar New Year's Day) & Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day)

Charges : Free (fees apply for special exhibitions)
