L’ermitage Naewonam se trouve sur le mont Daeunsan à Ulsan. Il dépendait autrefois du temple Daewonsa, qui se trouvait à l’entrée de l’ermitage, mais seul son site subsite à ce jour. La vallée entourant l’ermitage est réputée pour la pureté de ses eaux. Le micocoulier vieux de 500 ans qui pousse dans l’enceinte de l’ermitage attire aussitôt le regard et fait penser à un éléphant. Les moines bouddhistes d’Ulsan y organisent chaque année un récital de musique.

Parc Igidae (이기대 국가지질공원)

Le parc Igidae fait face au mont Jangsanbong dans le district Yongho 3-dong. Il constitue une sorte de crique en bord de mer constitué d’une série de falaises assez escarpées. L’accès au parc est ainsi clairement balisé pour les touristes pour des raisons de sécurité. Le lieu est connu notamment pour la vue des vagues se heurtant aux falaises, mais aussi pour les activités de pêche maritime. Cette zone a aussi servi de base militaire, ce qui a rendu l’accès au lieu impossible jusqu’en 1993.
