Masan Place is located in a famous food alley near Seoul City Hall. The restaurant has been in operation for over 40 years, being most well known for their soegogi gukbap (beef rice soup) and modeum jeon (assorted pancakes). The latter comes with pan-fried oysters, seafood, and other ingredients. This dish goes particularly well with alcohol.

Masan Place is known for being frequented visited by Former President Roh Moo-hyun. Since the establishment opened, the same cook has prepared its delicious meals. The restaurant was named after the proprietor from Masan.

Nanta est un spectacle familial plein de dynamisme qui transforme les couteaux, les planches à découper et les autres ustensiles de cuisine en instruments à percussion pas comme les autres ! A présent, ce sont quelques 6 400 000 spectateurs du monde entier qui ont pu apprécier ce spectacle, et Nanta vise à devenir un spectacle permanent à Séoul. Le spectacle attire 680 000 spectateurs étrangers par an, et a été reçu le prix du programme d’excellence en 2009.

Musée d’art de Séoul (서울시립미술관)

Le Musée d'Art de Séoul met à l'honneur l'art moderne coréen et international à travers ses six galeries. De grandes expositions internationales s'y tiennent tous les cinq à six mois. Grand magasin Shinsegae (Myeongdong, siège social) (신세계 백화점- 본점)

Shinsegae a été originellement inauguré comme le magasin Gyeongseong de la chaîne japonaise Miskosi en 1930. Après la libération de la Corée, il est devenu le grand magasin coréen Donghwa. Racheté par le groupe Samsung, il a été renommé « Shinsegae » à l’issue d’une enquête publique.
Le siège social du premier grand magasin coréen se situe au centre de Séoul, dans le quartier Chungmuro, et il est en tête des grands magasins du pays depuis les 70 dernières années.
Bien que situé à Chungmuro, il est considéré comme se trouvant à Myeongdong, car il se situe dans la zone commerciale de celui-ci.
La construction du nouveau bâtiment sera achevée en 2005. Jusque-là, seul le bâtiment principal sera ouvert. Bientôt, la station du métro Hoehyeon mènera au grand magasin. Quoique moins connu, ce grand magasin est plus luxueux et calme, comparé à son homologue Lotte qui se trouve à proximité.
