Horim Art Center in Sinsa-dong is a branch of Horim Museum, opened in Sillim-dong by the Sungbo Cultural Foundation in June of 2009 with the aim of bringing art closer to people. Gebang Sikdang’s gejang (marinated crab) was so highly rated that the restaurant was included in the MICHELIN Guide Seoul 2023. Gejang (marinated crab) is a dish where blue crab, cleanly washed and prepared, is marinated and aged in a sauce made with soy sauce, chili pepper powder, garlic, ginger, rice malt, etc. The restaurant is most famous for its ganjang gejang (soy sauce marinated crab) and yangnyeom gejang (spicy marinated crab). Heukdonga Samseong is a restaurant near COEX that serves Jeju-style dwaeji gui (grilled pork). The pork served here is Jeju heukdwaeji (Jeju black pork), cut into thick slices, charcoal-grilled, and either dipped into myeolchijeot (salted anchovies) or eaten with kkaennip jangajji (pickled perilla leaves). The grilling process drains the excess fat from the meat and imbues it with the scent of charcoal.
