Traversant le marché de Dongmun à Jeju City, la rivière de Sanjicheon regorge de poissons d’eau douce : ayus, mulets cabot, gobies ou carpes. En été, des centaines de milliers de personnes s’y retrouvent pour pêcher à la ligne, et elle est également très appréciée des enfants.

Le port, qui se situe en bas de la rivière Sanjicheon, est réputé pour le tableau pittoresque formé par les bateaux de pêche, les aigrettes et les mouettes. Tout au bout de la rivière, les visiteurs peuvent contempler la reconstitution d’un bateau à voile chinois. Des sentiers de promenade, un parc et des fontaines musicales se trouvent tout au long de la rivière.
