Desde la apertura de la Expo Jardín de la Bahía de Suncheonman en 2013, este jardín se ha convertido en una importante atracción turística para todos, y fue designado como primer Jardín Nacional en septiembre de 2015. Con la llegada del otoño, algunas flores como los crisantemos pueden verse en exhibición, renovando la imagen del jardín en su totalidad.

Hay dos puertas de entrada, la Este y la Oeste, en el Jardín Nacional de la Bahía de Suncheonman. La entrada del Este lleva al Jardín del Lago Suncheon, los Jardines del Mundo y el Sendero de las Matasecuoyas. Por su parte, la del Oeste conduce al Jardín Tradicional Coreano, al Centro Internacional de Humedales de la Bahía de Suncheonman, y a otras atracciones cercanas. Los visitantes pueden elegir una de las entradas para comenzar su recorrido. Como el parque es muy amplio y espacioso, le tomará varias horas explorarlo. Se recomienda utilizar el mapa gratuito del lugar que está disponible en las entradas.

Un autobús panorámico (con costo extra) opera dentro del Jardín Nacional de la Bahía de Suncheonman. Al subirse a este vehículo, puede dar una vuelta en dirección a la Puerta Este y los Jardines del Mundo. Un circuito completo tomará unos 20 minutos. Los visitantes pueden abordarlo en la parada frente al Jardín Francés.
