AREA6 is a multipurpose cultural space made to promote the artisans and artists of Busan as a part of an urban regeneration project. Yeongdodaegyo Bridge, connecting Nampo-dong and Yeongdo Island, was the first bridge to connect the mainland to one of the nearby islands in Busan.
