EXCO is a leading exhibition and convention center in Daegu Metropolitan City, opened with the aim of promoting the local economy as well as the business, culture, and art sectors of Korea on an international scale. EXCO hosts over 1,000 events annually, ranging from international exhibitions and meetings to local business promotions. Opened in 2001, the center was expanded in 2020 to host larger international events.

Gugongtan Makchang is famous in the area for their chewy tripe, served pre-grilled and ready to cook. The tripe plumps up and gets tender after cooking over the fire and goes great as is or dipped in sauce and eaten with a leaf wrap. The mushroom doenjangjjigae is also something not to be missed.

Daegu Duryu Park (대구두류공원)

Daegu Duryu Park was built near Duryusan and Geumbongsan mountains in 1977. The park encompasses the area of Duryusan Mountain including E-World all the way to Geumbongsan Mountain behind Daegu Culture and Arts Center. The name Duryusan came from the fact that the mountain is spread out in a circular form. The total size of the park is approximately 1.7 million ㎡ at a x_height of 135 meters above sea level. Various statues and memorials including 2ㆍ28 Memorial Tower that commemorates the high school students who started the 4ㆍ19 Revolution, as well as a statue of Yi Sang-hwa and more can be found along the Duryu Park circular road. After the opening on October 1977, the park added a soccer field, a baseball field and other recreational facilities as well as private libraries that provide convenience to the citizens.

Puruncha Tea Culture Research (사단법인 푸른차문화연구원)

Puruncha Tea Culture Research opened in 1996 to promote Korea's traditional culture and etiquette through tea ceremonies and other programs related to tea. The center uses 100% Korean tea in all programs, supporting local farmers and the local economy.

E-World will hold the E-World Blossom Picnic on the stage of the 83 Tower and E-World where cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

E-World Cherry Blossom, which is the fastest cherry blossom in the country and where visitors can enjoy the largest nighttime cherry blossoms in Korea, has three times more cherry blossom trees than Yeouido Yunjung-ro. The entire area of 83 Tower, the landmark of Daegu, is colored with cherry blossoms, allowing visitors to feel the mood of spring. During the festival, hundreds of photo zones that cannot be seen anywhere in the country, such as a red double-decker bus, merry-go-round, and cherry blossom sky view from the observatory, are filled in the space, allowing you to take hundreds of life shots with every step you take.

E-World not only has cherry blossoms but tulips and other spring flowers.

Daegu Chimac Festival (대구치맥페스티벌)

The Daegu Chimac Festival celebrates the beloved Korean combination of chicken and beer, a pairing appreciated worldwide thanks to K-dramas. Known for its scorching summer heat, Daegu, nicknamed “Daefrica” due to its high temperatures, hosts the Chimac Festival every summer. Daegu Art Museum (대구미술관)
