The Picker is Korea's first zero-waste shop that opened in 2016, and has a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. The shop is filled with eco-friendly bathroom products, gardening products, kitchen products, stationery, and more. It is fun to look around as it has many products essential to everyday life made from very environmentally friendly materials such as bamboo toothbrushes, solid perfume, shampoo bars, plastic-free corn floss, natural surfactants like soapnut fruits, and glass and silicone straws.

Center Coffee (Seoul Forest) (센터커피 서울숲점)

Center Coffee (Seoul Forest) is located near Exit 5 of Seoul-forest Station (Suin–Bundang Line) in a residential district between Seongdong-gu Citizens' Sports Center and Seongsu Middle School. Note that the shop does not have its own parking lot. Because of its location in a busy city center, it is best to utilize buses, subway, and other public transportation. The cafe itself is situated on the second and third floors of a building, so it has a pleasant view. As one enters the building, one can find five blue ribbons adorning the doorway. Window seats here have a view of Seoul Forest. Signature menus include hand drip and mugwort lattes, and the menu is rounded out by beverages like espresso, cafe Americano, latte, and cappuccino. Because of its proximity to Seoul Forest, one can go for a leisurely walk there. Other nearby sites include Seongsu-dong Cafe Street, Seongsu Handmade Shoes Park, and Ttukseom Recreation Area.

Soseoul Hannam (소설한남)

Soseoul Hannam is a Korean fine-dining located in Hannam-dong. It offers modern interpretations of traditional Korean cuisine. The menu consists of lunch and dinner courses. Popular dishes include sliced raw fish served with fischer’s ragwort and aged kimchi, as well as charcoal-grilled spicy stir-fried webfoot octopus and chicken dishes. It's also known for its diverse selection of traditional liquors for pairing. In 2023, it was selected for the Michelin Guide Seoul.

Lindapick is a guesthouse located a five-minute walk from Itaewon Station (line 6). The host of this new guesthouse, open in May 2021, prioritizes cleanliness by washing bedding and disinfect the whole place every time a guest leaves. The CCTVs that are installed outside and at the shared inner space are operated around the clock, strengthening the security. The light-lemon-color exterior walls of the accommodation and the muted-colored rooms are in harmony, forming a fresh and calm atmosphere. The room that can accommodate two persons shows how the host is considerate. A 100% natural aroma diffuser emits peppermint scent that makes guest unwind, and the lavender scent lets guests sleep tight. The kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave oven is where you can cook a simple dishes, and the air purifier and the washing machine let you enjoy a fresher rest. From the entrance to the room, there is a garden that is decorated as an outdoor terrace, where you can have a leisurely time sunning yourself.

Dapsimni Antique Art Street (답십리 고미술상가)

Dapsimni Antique Art Street is where travelers can stumble upon valuable old paintings, antique furniture and pottery as well as a variety of household items. These antique shops used to be scattered throughout the area of Cheonggyecheon Stream 8(pal)-ga, Itaewon, and Ahyeon-dong, but have gathered within Dapsimni area since the mid-1980s. There are approximately 140 shops along the streets.

It is quite fun to browse through antiquities including wooden candlesticks, grandfather clocks, and old picture frames, items which are usually hard to find in regular stores. These rare items attract not only Koreans but also international visitors to this street. While shops in Insa-dong are popular for selling high-quality antiques, shops in Dapsimni Art Street are popular for offering a wide assortment of antiques at reasonable prices.
