Yeouido Park is a large recreational area located on Yeouido Island in the central part of Seoul. It was once originally covered with black asphalt, and people frequented the place for bicycling and roller-skating. The construction began in 1997 and opened officially in February 1999. It is now the place where many people in the city come to rest and enjoy strolling around, playing sports, and cultural events.

Aqua Planet 63 is an aquarium located on the first underground floor of Yeouido’s 63 Square. In a space about 3,500m2 in total area, the aquarium houses nearly 400 species of aquatic life, amounting to about 20,000 in total. Aqua Planet 63 is divided into a variety of spaces, from the Aqua Planet Garden to the Golden Miracle Zone, Penguin Planet, True Seal Planet, and the Coral Planet. One can even see the mermaid show. Note that a 50% discount is applied on the last Wednesday of every month. As for the 63 Square itself, the golden building by the Hangang River at Yeouido is the building.

Situated on the highest floor of Yeouido’s 63 Square, Walking On The Cloud overlooks the Hangang River and downtown Seoul. The Hangang Night Walk 42K is the only nighttime walking marathon in the nation, starting and ending at Nogeum Fountain at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul. The marathon features three courses: 15K, 22K, and 42K to enjoy the hot summer night. The courses all feature beautiful views, such as the Banpodaegyo Bridge Rainbow Fountain. Because the marathon is a walking one and not running, people of all ages can participate, talking the night away as they walk.
