La Montagne Joryeongsan divise Mungyeong (Gyeongsangbuk-do) et Goesan (Chungcheongbuk-do). Elle est située à l'extrémité de Baekdudaegan (la chaîne de montagne reliant Baekdusan et Jirisan). Les portes 1, 2 et 3 se trouvent entre Joryeongsan et Juheulsan. Le sentier au sommet est entouré de parois rocheuses abruptes, au plus grand émerveillement des randonneurs. Bien que la montagne soit imposante, la randonnée est relativement facile car elle commence à partir de Ihwaryeong (529m). Les meilleurs points de vue sur le sentier sont : Iwaryeong, Joryeongsaem, le pic, Gitdaebong Samgeori, et la porte 3. En arrivant au sommet de la montagne, les visiteurs peuvent voir le mont Juheulsan à l'est, le mont Baekhwasan. et Ihwaryeong Hill au sud et le mont Wolsaksan au nord.
