Haeunjae (下隱齋), meaning “hermit’s residence,” is a hanok (traditional Korean house) residence located in Seochon Hanok Village, near Gyeongbokgung Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. It is dedicated to the ideal of “movies and rest,” and takes after the characteristic form of modern hanok with a small courtyard. The entire house is rented out at once, with a queen bedroom, kitchen, movie room, and two restrooms. Up to 4 guests can reserve the house, with each additional guest above the standard of 2 having access to additional bedding.
The movie room is furnished with a Bose sound system, beam projector, and screen, along with a mobile foot bath. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, hand drip coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and utensils. This unique combination of Hanok (traditional Korean house) style housing and Western foods is drawing a lot of people to Hyoja-dong. The great mix of both cultures can be seen in the sophisticated decorations and from the amazing food. The herbs they use are picked directly from the restaurant's personal garden. But to enjoy the atmosphere here, you will have to make a reservation far in advance.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located behind Seochon Food Street, located near Gyeongbokgung Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. It is located only 5 min away by foot from the station. Opening the door brings one to a small garden, furnished with stones and moss on a corner, and the interior also speaks to the unique combination of a modern hanok with contemporary sensibilities. The building is divided into the main building and annex building, with the former having two queen bedrooms connected by a living room and kitchen as well as two bathrooms.
The annex building is the hidden jewel of STAY dayoff, which houses a bathtub and a sauna facility behind a beautiful window wall. When the windows are opened, it is like being in an open-air bath overlooking the garden and the hanok. The standard occupancy of the house is 4, with a 10% discount available for guests staying for more than 2 nights on weekdays, and towel replacement and cleaning services are offered for guests staying for more than 4 nights.

Lieu saint de Seosomun (서소문순교성지)

Le carrefour près de Seosomun était un lieu d'exédution à l'époque de Joseon. Ce lieu s'appelait 'Sigumun' qui signifie la porte où les cadavres passent. Ils transportaient les cadavres par Seoeomun et exécutaient les coupable à ce lieu où il y avait un marché à l'époque. Les citoyens pouvaient regarder à la scène d'exécution ce qui alarmait les personnes. En 1984, 103 martyrs sont nés dans le catholicisme de Corée, qui est également un événement peu probable dans l'histoire mondial catholique. Pour les croyants catholiques en Corée, Seosomun est considéré comme l'un des lieux saints importants parce que de nombreux prêtres catholiques ont été martyrisés à ce site. Parmi 103 martyrs coréens, 44 ont été martyrisés ici. En outre, une béatification a eu lieu ici en 2014, pour bénir les 124 personnes.
